Great place of Service, well thought out and planned. Staff evolving and structured.

Out of all the VAs and counties I’ve been to. This location is the worst one. I have scheduled 4 mental health appointments and have had them all canceled on me without notice. And then my record shows me as the no show. I finally get scheduled in and the doctor doesn’t even show up. I’m sitting there visibly upset and crying desperate for help (because no local businesses are accepting new patients) and they don’t even bat an eye. For primary care I schedule and message them through my healthy vet. Like they tell us to, no reply. I’ve been waiting for meds for over a week with no one answering the phone. I have NEVER felt more helpless through a medical system. This facility is the reason the VA gets such a bad rep. I never understood why people didn’t like them until I came here. It’s such a disappointment since the facility is so nice.

New facility, well organized, and very spacious! The staff are very compassionate and try to be as accommodating as possible.

Dr. Ramos needs customer service training, he would rather spend time arguing and disproving the patient rather than listening and being understanding of situations presented to him at face value. He will never be my Dr again.

I'm not quite sure what you are asking, but the VA at both Raeford Road and Ramsey Road both have paid and volunteer workforces. There is a program you can attend to become a volunteer. The information desk can provide you with that data. To apply for VA jobs, you would need to go to USAjobs.gov
