After trying out a few places this has become my favorite place to stay at when in Austin. The place is squeaky clean, staff are very friendly (special nod to Kate), and location is fantastic.

All was going good until the incident. I went to the front desk because me key stopped working and no one was there. I spotted the front desk attendant outside trying to repair a switch and tried getting their attention without any luck. While waiting two other hotel guests came down for service but again the attendant was outside. I waited 15 - 20 minutes in total and also called the hotel just in case someone would answer or hoping all calls were forwarded to the attendant but again no luck. I could not just go outside poolside to get the front desk attendant because my hotel key would not work. After some time I spotted the attendant socializing and getting a plate of food so at that point I knew there was no intention on coming back to the front desk for work. I could not open the door so I knocked on the window a few times but because is a very heavy hurricane glass no one heard me so I knocked harder and harder until I got the attention of the guests just outside and they looked at me as if I was crazy I motioned and pointed to the attendant but they just stared. I finally got everyone's attention and motioned to get the attendant and this time it finally worked after being embarrassed by about 50 other guests staring at me as if I was a mad man. The attendant looked at me as if I was a bit of a bother interrupting the social gathering. The attendant came in with no apologies, asked me one question and just activated my key and gave it to me and I asked "so aren't you going to say anything", looking and expecting for an apology but there was utter silence and they smiled. This behavior is unacceptable. I already talked to the manager who gave me a callback and they were "lukewarm". Other than that, a great hotel. 5 stars - 3 stars = 2 stars

We took a chance based on reviews and were not disappointed. I am super picky, but everything looked so clean in our room. We liked having the beds in a separate space from the kitchen/living room area. I also liked having the vanity space outside the bathroom. The front desk staff were more than happy to accommadate our request to make our stay more comfortable. The food was good and a great way to start our day. They had plenty of options to choose from. The beds were super comfy. If you're unfortunate enough to have inconsiderate people above you, you will hear running/jumping loud and clear. My husband brought a box fan and it helped drown it out a bit. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay, we had plenty of space for our family and the complimentary breakfast helped us get our day going. The staff was awesome! Zenn is amazing and so was the gentleman with dark hair and glasses, they both helped us when we had two different issues that we caused (key issue and forgotten belongings). We will definitely stay there again when we visit Austin.
