Me and my wife were leasing a car from them the first car was a 2016 Nissan rogue it was totaled a few months later gap insurance covered what we owed on the vehicle and we were a few thousand over instead of cashing us out, they credited it towards another car Wich was a Hyundai Santa Fe 2015 in June of 2021. I was told with both vehicles have 30 day warranty then after that all repairs we would have to cover however engine and transmission are covered until it's paid off. Last night the engine started knocking I called u.s auto and they weren't helpful at all. They said engine only had a 1,000 mile warranty Wich is unheard of for a 28,000$ vehicle if they would have told me that from the start I would have never gotten the vehicle with the knowledge I have from working on cars for over 12 years. The vehicle was serviced every 3 months oil changed on time all the time. So we returned the car to u.s auto only to find out that even though we're returning there vehicle we still have to pay the remainder of 18,000. Yes 18,000$ for a SUV that we already put about 10,000$ into that barely lasted 1, year even being serviced, on time by a corporate level mechanic . They will get over on you it's sad that I have a 2003 explorer that I've paid 300$ bucks from the junkyard , months before we got the Hyundai and it out lasted a 28000$ vehicle that should tell you all you need to know about U S Auto. I hope I've helped someone else because now I feel like I need a lawyer or someone to talk to about this.
