There is an old saying ... sure you can trust the government ask any native American . I don't trust the IRS or the government which is why I claim exempt on all my taxes ; federal and state . They don't owe me and I don't owe them . And I don't file taxes . Don't let the government fool you . Know your rights . Read and be educated but not by the government . Don't be fooled .

You cannot walk in so you have to make an appointment, when I call the appointment line or even try to speak to someone they say they're to busy to take the call.

Phone number to call? I filed in February and have not received my refund. No way to talk with a person... Number PLEASE????
I have called went to the aite for Idverify and not working call to schedule appt no one answeres
No they will never call. If that happens it's fraudulent. Please don't give them any information. These scammers steal millions of dollars every year from egnorant people.
How do I make an appointment with the I.R.S.?
How can I make an appointment to go to the office?
I did mine 8 months ago & still haven’t got anything
That is a scam. This is the information from the IRS website regarding those calls and how they handle it. https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/tax-scams-consumer-alertsIt is easy to get a DC number. It is a scam. Call the IRS directly.
Need change of address form
You should go into the office and speak directly with an agent.
Make a payment plan. That's what I do almost every year lol.
Don't arrive there without an appointment. The agents are very helpful but the greeter will not even try to help you unless you have an appointment.
Nesecita ase a quote
Make an appointment
Sounds like a question you need to ask the IRS. Any number of factors could be causing this, including good ol fashion red tab slowing up the process.
As the old saying goes.. "The Squeaky Wheel gets the Grease." Be the squeaky, grinding wheel and good luck..
They have to be ordered. Go to www.irs.gov. Not available at local office.
Make an appointment.
no, the IRS will not contact you through the phone if you owe them. this is a scam that has been heavily talked about on the news etc. do not give them money, thwy are exploiting you.
They don't...you need to have an appointment
Call the IRS. I thought they were working on my 2020 taxes based on a letter they sent, turns out they never got them. I now have to submit a paper copy thru the regular mail.
Yes but you have to have an appointment. And they won't schedule them there you have to call an 800 number
A month ago the IRS released a statement say that they are back logged in sending checks out. Stimulus and Tax return's are delayed. IRS says due to Covid, we acknowledge many are still waiting for returns sent earlier in the year. Ask the public for their patience.
You have to make an appointment, but if you go and are patient they'll attend you
They are talking about it. Others are still waiting for their 3rd stimulus check. IRS is behind even behind with filed taxes and their tax refunds.
I filled in February and still. Waiting Is America broke ???
Your not
I don't know i just did it online
No
Yes or no
Yes, you can get a copy of your W-2, bring photo id
Yes, but I think that past the security, you may be asked to put it away.
Likely no. Because they need social security numbers. Check with the local tax professional.
Yeah, it's called identity theft. However, if the name does not match the social security number, then there are questions and it will slow the process until you can prove who you are.
Yes, but you'll need an appointment if you're bringing cash. It's easy on the website irs.gov
Yes you do. They started that about a year ago.
File a claim with IRS you'll get your money back with time not sure how long but you'll get it.
No
Make an appointment otherwise you will probably not be happy with the way you are treated. The agents are pretty nice but the "greeter" is not so helpful particularly if you don't have an appointment.
You have to actually ask IRS.
Oh yes. You MUST have an appointment..even though the place had 3 people in the waiting area. The lady who came to the front entry will try to convince you that they are really busy, that you can handle your business online, etc. I was more than a little irritated when I actually saw that there was almost no one in the waiting area. I thought the IRS had changed its ways but maybe not so much in the Phoenix office.
