Dr. Marjoua is an EXCELLENT doctor. Her background and experience is fantastic. I was amazed that we were able to get in to see her and that her practice's prices were reasonable...in fact much lower than other doctors in the area. We took our daughter there after she fell on the playground and fractured her wrist. She ensured our daughter did not have excessive downtime and could get back to sports quickly, but safely. She made sure that she had a comfortable cast that was easy to manage during the summer and through swimming and vacation. She spent as much time with us as we needed and answered all our questions. And her office is insanely organized and efficient! From x-ray to exam and casting, we were in and out without any waiting! I highly recommend her.

Went needed a second opinion this was requested. Had issues with them months ago so wasn’t my pick. I wasn’t informed to bring my paperwork when I called there is a receptionist Teresa, she is the reason why I did not go to get my surgery there in the first place. On the phone she talks over you, and always contradicts herself. I also did not think Dr. Zimmerman took my concerns seriously. He just agreed with the previous paperwork from the other surgeon office. He even stated that the X-ray they took down stairs wasn’t the best. So he didn’t want to judge it off that. However, didn’t tell me to go back or nothing. I didn’t want a whole new doctor and receptionist before I was placed to Teresa. I guess due to me being in the system that who they put me with. I’m glad k went elsewhere for surgery. This was a waste of time.

I could not find a hand surgeon in my area and was told by a orthopedic that I needed surgery on my finger immediately. I had broken it severally 3 to 4 weeks prior but did not seek medical treatment in a timely manner so they were unsure if anything could be done to fix it. That’s when I found The Greater Chesapeake. They got me an appointment the next day. Dr. Shubinets was extremely knowledgeable and professional plus was able to do my surgery the following business day. He did a wonderful job during surgery and the after care has been going well. I recommend Dr.Shubinets and The Greater Chesapeake to anyone having hand and shoulder issues.
