Yes you can see the mansion and go inside.

No, the staff didn't require us to wear a mask during the mansion tour, but I wore one anyway just to be safe.

There are picnic tables at a few spots but I don't think they're covered.

I'm not sure if they have a rule against it or not but there's a lot of cobblestone there so I don't the kids would be able to ride around much!

As Maria mentioned in her comment, the premises are open to the public including two exhibitions. However, the planetarium is temporarily closed. You could still go and enjoy the wonderful view. Perfect for a picnic with the family or your significant other.

No cafeteria. There are vending machines and a gift shop in the planetarium building.

Parking is free. A tour of the mansion is $14 for adults, $13 for students and seniors, and $11 for children 12 and under. We don't recommend the mansion for children 8 or under.
