My one dog gets very nervous with fireworks and thunder. So we let her go to a comfort spot: sometimes the bathroom , and sometimes we open a closet and put her bedding in there. But wherever she goes we put a radio near her and play calm music to drown out the sound. Station 101.1 FM works really well for her. Just be careful when opening doors to leave or enter the house because a lot of pets instinct is to run away when they are nervous.

Yes they do, they took excellent care of my rats when I had them, so I'm sure they take hamsters. I'm unsure of the visit price, but I'm sure you can call and find out before you go. I will attest that they are extremely great vet, Dr. Tallant is amazing.
