Such an amazing find....my wife and I were mesmerized at the sheer size of this park, the wonderful trails and the little amount of people who are there at any given time. There is a creek, watering holes and it is extremely dog friendly! If I could've given 100 stars I would have!

A hiden gem in Richmond We drove all the way from Norfolk to enjoy this Beautiful trail Feb 12 2022 70 degrees The Trail was Amazing, the weather was great a lot of people hiking we did the outer loop this time. Took crazy amounts of pictures, the sad part is in the beginning of the trail the new house development blocked some of the trail sections and now the houses are literally at the edge of the outer loop trail, not Kool encroachment is real. But after 500yards is ok.

Nice hiking trail, not too strenuous. You can see town houses and condos all around you while you are hiking. It is okay if you don’t have time to go somewhere more secluded.

Thorn Shadows

This is a great hidden gem. Very large network of trails used by both pedestrian and bicycle. Our dog loves it. Outside loop is about 3 miles, some hills especially when on the entry trail, there is a steep decline hiking in.
