Denial of emergency services, emergency services has hung up on my family member trying to seek services, blowing her off completely, retaliation after founded complaints, paper pushing bureaucrats, this is the worst city in Hampton Roads for mental health care. It is beyond incompetent, and very stressful for those e trying to get services for someone they are legally responsible for. No wonder Virginia Beach jail is full of people with mental health issues.

There are some resources such as the salvation army that could help with your rent. I'd also recommend reaching out to senior services of Southeastern Virginia as they provide various support to people with disabilities
