In an attempt to assist my father file documentation pertaining to a personal matter, I had to contact this office to obtain further information regarding the process. I spoke with Cathy, the receptionist, to seek clarity regarding a series of miscommunication that occurred. Upon speaking with her, she was immensely unprofessional and rude. She even yelled at me when I began probing deeper into the issue at hand. She displayed an overabundance of inadequacy in her ability to deliver accurate information, which was the initial reason for the persistent confusion. She failed to properly distinguish his available options and misled us. After speaking with her, she decided she no longer wanted to speak with me since she didn't have the professionalism to carry the conversation, so she said she would transfer me to the "president," but the call, of course, didn't go through, and was just rerouted to her voicemail. I then called back to see if I could speak with someone else and was transferred to Ray Cleland, who was just as rude and unprofessional as Cathy. I explained my experience to him, and he exhibited indifference and didn't care to showcase empathy about the disrespect I received. He spoke to me in a disgusting, condescending manner and simply wanted to dismiss me off of the call. I was extremely taken aback by his countenance, especially since he apparently holds a position in "leadership." After this horrific experience, I am left with an abhorrent view of this Union and would wholeheartedly not recommend anyone to seek employment with them. If you fail to showcase support to the loved ones of your dedicated members then you lack dignity and character. Our family was humiliated and outright mistreated.
