Utah State Fairpark is incrediblely dirty/sticky. Didn't help it was windy so trash is flying about. Standard fair food if you're into deep fried anything. Unfortunately it's not my jam. AMAZING MONSTER TRUCK SHOW. Went in Sept 2021. The monster trucks, totally worth it. Fair could be fun if you have kids. Others just go for the trucks 🤙

The food was better this time though I did not patronize the turkey leg outfit that was a terrible disappointment last year.
The concert was great, the stadium wonderful and we are grateful the yellowslide was open. We enjoyed very much the 4h and art buildings and the face painting was a favorite and the lady very pleasant and skilled.

We didn't go to the fair we were there for the days if '47 rodeo. The stadium was great. There were a lot of vendors there selling different things. They did have a carnival set up for the kids.
An unlimited access wristband that is good from open until 6pm is $20. An unlimited access wristband that is good from open until close is $28. Individual ride tickets are $1 each, and rides are usually about 5 tickets a person (: hope that helps!!
Tickets say good for any one day at the fair, does that mean i can leave and come back??? What if i just want to run to my car or the 7-11 next door???
Free street parking on the north side and east side on side streets. South lot gets muddy north lot is huge. $10 for parking. South lot is closer to gates.
It is fun,, there is various foods,. Carnival rides, animals,. Carnival games, concerts, rodeo,. Car type races. Fair is 2021, Sept. Check back, above may b different 🌞😅💙

Yes from 11 am until 7 pm on the north side of the park. There are signs to follow to tell you where to go. Make sure to register for testing before you come at https://immunize.utah.gov/covidtesting/
Does anyone know when they plan on opening the Vans Skatepark?

Utah State Fairpark (Owner) | May 14, 2020
Hey Ryan,
We don't know yet, we're still working on an approval process and some minor construction projects to be finished. We're just as anxious as everyone else to announce the opening. Keep an eye on our website and on our Facebook Page and you'll know as soon as we announce it!
How long does the monster truck show typically go for on Sunday? I know it starts at 6 but does anyone know what time it would end? Thanks!
If you buy the lower bowl rodeo tickets does that still get you into the fair?
Natasha Chatwin | May 13, 2020
Tracey Smithee | May 14, 2020
I didn't have the answer but knew where to find it! Glad I could help; Lower Bowl: $18.00 in advance, includes Fair gate admission. Upper Bowl: FREE with paid gate admission! Free seating ticket required. In 2019 Utah's Own Rodeo is celebrating 32 years as a Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) approved rodeo.
what is the seating like for the rodeo. do we need to bring something soft to sit on. and what time does the gate open to save seats?

Aaron Pleasant | May 14, 2020
Yes I would recommend something for padding. The rodeo grounds have bleacher seating on the higher levels and regular plastic seat's on the lower levels. Also gates typically open 1 hour before most events but that varies.
How much are tickets just to get into the fairgrounds? Kids and adults
