Always a good event center. Area of town is a little sketchy, (getting better all the time) and the way to get there is sort of convoluted now due to construction. But the event staff are fantastic, and the building is always clean and well kept.

All ages allowed in the venue. Under 10 must have hearing protection, although I'd recommend ear plugs for all ages to be safe.
The venue is set to handle all ages... the bar area is upstairs, and in accordance to Utah liquor laws, nothing goes up and nothing goes down... you have a water bottle... consume it before going from or to the bar area.
The majority of our shows will be GA standing room only, on both floors. If you prefer to be seated we have vip tables available for upgrade at https://theunioneventcenter.com/premium-tables. The tables are upstairs and is 21+ only. We also provide ADA seating on the main floor, reserved of course for ADA access.
It's GA
Parking around the neighborhood is free but it is a scary area by the train tracks. Safe enough inside. I wouldn't go alone.
When I was there for Sylvan Esso back in mid-September, they didn't say anything about masks until we got to the doors, where we learned they were required. They had some there, but I would recommend bringing one.
North Temple off the Front Runner Arena Station off Trax about 2 blocks away!
Mm.... disagree. There's not much parking aside from the street and it's in a place where the Frontrunner lets off. "Safe" is an illusion in Salt Lake. It depends of you're there in the day time, when there's light, or night, with no streetlights along that whole road. So. Safe? Up to you to ascertain.
Yes
I would try contacting the venue or were you bought your tickets for the handicap section
Before the doors are open, people will usually line up in front of the gates. The length of the line varies, but it usually extends down the block. People will be allowed to enter the gates at the designated "doors open" time. That's when they do Will Call and ticket scanning.
Depends on what event you're going to.
They do have some seating, but it might be hard pressed to say it'd be guaranteed. It's also not the best situated. A good thing to know is that establishments rarely respond to these Google Questions. I'd suggest trying them by phone. Or, go directly to staff the day of the show when you arrive. Heck, maybe even just rent a wheelchair for the show. You are guaranteed to be let in, probably skip a line or two, and be offered a good place to post up. Good luck!
I work the venue occasionally and I'm guessing since there are few places to sit. Upstairs is the bar and has a great view of the stage but you are free to go anywhere but drinks do not go up or down levels. Estimated 4500 capacity.
You park along the road and there is a parking lot across the rail tracks. Short walks
There is an upper balcony and the normal floor. Most of the shows I've been to at this venue are for smaller bands where they make the upper section 21+. Since these guys are a more popular band I'm guessing the cheaper tickets would be for the balcony.
The Utah indoor clean air act would prevent use of either inside the venue. You'd have to check with the venue whether you're permitted to have those items on your person while on the premises.
Yes they have water and the events that I have been to you can take your own water bottle also.
"Unless we specifically say otherwise on the event information page, your children will need their own ticket, even if they'll be sitting on your knee." (This is not directly from Union event center, though I'm sure it would be the normal point of view of most arenas)
There's not a dedicated parking lot, you'll need to find on-street parking. There's some food though we didn't purchase any so can't address the prices or quality. They do have alcoholic beverages in the upper area, which is restricted to 21+.
The union station has a large parking lot land across the street is another large lot
I believe so unless it is sold out
It's an all ages event. The teenagers can go.
