We’ve always had a good experience going to Great Clips but tonight didn’t go so well. My daughter had been growing out her beautiful blonde hair for a very long time. I took my daughter to Langer Great Clips to simply get a trim and some layering on the sides to blend in her bangs that she was growing out. We settled on about 2 inches to be trimmed off the back and a slide layer around the face. We even brought a picture. The older lady seemed to understand but after more than 6 inches were cut and a chunk taken out of the right side, I was speechless. I still paid and gave a tip as I always do thinking I wasn’t looking at the cut right. Once outside I saw clearly that my daughters sides were not blended correctly, they were terribly uneven with a section on the right with a blunt cut level with her nose. The back of her hair is not bad but the layer she tried to do is uneven. We did go back in to have her ‘fix’ the random unblended chunk on her right side but unfortunately she was rather confused how to fix the problem. She did her best. I cried when I got home. Her hair was butchered and all we wanted was a trim. It’s ok for a stylist to say ‘hey, I’m not good with long hair.’ I would have been good with that instead of having my daughters hair used as practice. The excuse she gave to me after seeing my frustration and horror on my face was that my daughter’s hair was fine and difficult to work with. In the end, I know her hair will grow back but we are very disappointed what happened tonight and we will need to find a professional salon to fix her hair.

The young lady there today 7/3/22 was so rude she made two people leave in front of me. They had appointments and told them they had to wait 120mins because it was close to her lunchtime (she was the only stylist) and she was going to close and lock the building at some point during her lunch, she ended up taking a walk-in, she cut my hair so quick and doing a poor job I knew I was going to have to fix it when I got home, which I did. So at the point she asked if it was done, I simply just agreed. By far the worst customer service I have ever seen. When she made one man and his two kids leave by being rude and telling them they had to wait 120mins, he asked for a customer service number and her name and she just kept telling him to leave. I should have left as well, knowing her skill would not have been up to par if that the way she was treating other customers.

Terrible service DO NOT GO to this location. I have been a customer of this great clips for over 18 years. Unfortunately, they are hiring terrible employees and have had two bad experiences recently. Both of them from the same employee! The first time this happened was about a month ago, and she cut my hair in two minutes seeming very rushed to close the store. Looks like they close at 5:00PM and this first interaction occurred at around 4:20PM. On that day she yelled at me about an imaginary “black line” and requesting for me to stay behind this non existent line. Today, I decided to give them another chance and took my son for his haircut. I came in at about 3:00 PM on Sunday February 20th. As soon as I walked in I was bombarded by her yelling at me AGAIN to stay behind the “black line” which was really just a black mat. I am extremely disappointed and I hope the manager / owner reads these reviews and looks over their employees because I’m sure customers like me who have been going to this location for so long and employees like her will make us choose another place for hair cuts. Or, perhaps the slogan has now changed and it is no longer “Welcome to Great Clips” and instead “Stay behind the black line”. I will never know because I am not coming back.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
