Swap meet will still be going on bi yearly as far as everyone knows. Only thing that stopped was any racing on the strip. The strip has been stripped and the tower is down.

Anybody that lived there before the track was built can speak out about the noise and how many people can that be,but anybody that moived there after should keep there mouth shut cause they new of the track ahead of time

As a racer. it will be missed track should of closed years ago. Only thing that would be missed is the summer nationals. Track owners neglected the facilities sadly But true same happened in long island tracks .East coast drag racing unfortunately or fortunately,. has gone back to the streets. I will miss the track sadly it was useful $etting up car .even if I'm from the city. RIP. ENGLISH TOWN .

I don't believe there is handicap parking there, they have over 20 rows of parking its on the grass after you get through the gate

Drag racing.. you have atco and island raceway here jersey. Englishtown still has road course events, motorcross, shiftcarts and drifting.

When not enough people show up to pay the bills, you can't run on pennies.

Quarter mile track is what made English Town Raceway what are they thinking ?

The people who live around the track have been complaining of the noise well that track has been there they can leave

The the family has gone some restructuring efforts and they have put out for press release effective this morning that they intend to shut down quarter mile 1/8 mile racing everything else will remain open but NHRA that's our no more.

I don't know 100% but I have been hearing that for years now and it's still going on strong
