The the family has gone some restructuring efforts and they have put out for press release effective this morning that they intend to shut down quarter mile 1/8 mile racing everything else will remain open but NHRA that's our no more.
There is an arena for concert on the Parkway. Englishtown was a dragstrip and it isn’t anymore. Call it progress if you want but it’s not in my opinion. The way the Napp family chose to announce it was a smack in the face to loyal fans. We didn’t get our renewal notice in the mail for the Summer Nationals and when we called they said their computers were down and renewal notices weren’t mailed out. That was a lie! Period. FAIL
Just drag racing on the strip has closed, motorsports park and road course are staying open
They close the Drag Race track they well not be drag racing there anymore
No they did not close! They created an 1/8 mile track next To the quarter mile track that Used to be part of the pit area. I am assumimg they did not have Enough people interested so they Decided to make it pit space again.
