I genuinely don’t understand why this restaurant is so highly rated. We came here for dinner, I’m not sure if it was an off night or something. We ordered the Lobster Fettucini for as an appetizer; it was ok, but a little bland, I would have added a bit more garlic, salt, and lemon. For Entrees, I got the Braised Beef Short Ribs, they were way too sweet with a sauce that tasted asian inspired, but it lacked complexity, some sesame seeds would have added some texture and added whole complex flavors to the asian sauce; it was very sweet with not enough acid to cut through, worse still the short ribs were not tender at all, you definitely had to use a knife to cut through. I feel like they needed to be in the braised for a couple more hours. My wife ordered the Pan-seared scallops, they were cooked perfectly and the scallops tasted very fresh, unfortunately it was incredibly over salted, it was salty to the point of being almost spicy. For dessert we got the Mousse Triangle. The triangle itself was nice. I’m not sure if the red sauce was supposed to be cranberry, but I’d say it tased more like a sweetened wine reduction, I wasn’t a huge fan. The mousse itself was decent, and it would probably be great with some raspberry sauce.

Food was excellent. We had the mozzarella appetizer to start and I had the pork chop. I asked for my pork chop well done and it was perfectly made. Usually I have a hard time with this since most places like to make the medium. My friend asked for her pork chop to be medium (the recommendation of the server) and hers was done perfect. Services was the best I had had in a long time. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful with picking our meal. Our water was filled constantly with a smile. Food came out in the appropriate time so my friend and I could catch up but not wait to long to eat. Ambiance was just right for an upscale dining experience but you can dress casual to eat. There is a downstairs for walk-Ins that has a nice feel to it. There is a bar on both floors. Would definitely go back when in town.

One of the best meals I've ever had! Walked in just as the hostess was saying she had one seat at the bar. Not only did I have a great time dining with fellow patrons at the bar, but the food and service were incredible. I will definitely be back.!

All staff were masked. The tables were spaced accordingly. Hand sanitizer was available. Staff was sanitizing tables between customers.
Not really a place for kids in my opinion, but yes, kids are allowed
There is outdoor seating in front of the Fat Canary, but I believe it is used by the cheese shop next door. Note that the weather here in early December may not make for an enjoyable outdoor dining experience...
