Good building but you can definitely see management prioritizes money over everything. They steadily collect and want their rent money on time but the laundry room has MULTIPLE broken machines washers and dryers throughout. It’s been like this for MONTHS and the elevators are no better. Absolutely scary, you can even get stuck. Yet the building has time for new lobby renovations LOL.

Overall I DO recommend it!! Pros: My experience at the Hallmark House was a positive one. I lived here from 2018 to 2022. I lived in a one bedroom unit. I relocated due to my family needs. The apartment was extremely large. The 2 bedroom units are rarely available as it seems tenants rarely move out, but if I could have gotten a 2 bedroom unit I would have stayed. The price was great as it is an all bills paid option so utilities were included in the rent. There is a courtyard area outside to relax, a gym area, a convenience store on the main level, and a laundry area. IHOP across the street, a Vegan restaurant, and many shops on Broad. Maintenance would respond normally the same day or within the same week each time I submitted work order entries. My unit was quiet once inside. As far as other tenants who have pets I would only hear the dog if I opened my front door. You can pay rent online which was a bonus for me. Management in the leasing office responds promptly to emails, calls, ect. The on-site security is the best! Officer Roman stands out as an amazing asset to the team among others I do not have names. Package/mail delivery system worked well. The lobby has been updated. Some apartment units have updates. My unit was not an updated one. I believe updates may be completed more as tenants change over. The fire alarm works, it is loud, but the fire department arrives within 3 minutes so this was always a relief. Kudos to the entire staff!! Cons: elevator malfunctions at times, extermination issues based on the seasons changing, and lack of central heating and cooling. (Window unit, dated)

This was my best renting experience! You could always call for any inconvenience and they will fixed as soon as possible, I never lost a package, lobby and security always clean as well mail area. This building have a excellent management and amenities, the convenient store close early and not always have everything you need but check it out first, the gym always clean. Nice and educated people, everyone have a busy life’s but you get to know some of them. The laundry have some room for improvement. Some of the Plus that this building offers and I loved were the security and the big maintenance staff, something to be appreciated.
