They cancelled our reservation without any warning or phone call while we were driving in from out of town. We arrived and there was a line out the door from how many rooms they had overbooked. The lady behind the counter was understandably stressed. There was no A/C, the elevator was broken so they apparently weren’t permitted to give out the handicap rooms. But the lady in front of us asked for a handicap room and the woman behind the counter allowed her to have one and didn’t even charge her for the room. Literally just gave her keys to a room with no money or anything. Then she tells us she cancelled our reservation to make room for someone else. Easily the worst hotel/motel experience I’ve ever had. Laughably embarrassing and I will never consider spending a dime at this place. Highly recommend you stay away from here, even if you are on a budget. They will cancel your reservation without notice and it didn’t seem like anyone there knew what was going on.

I had to stay down for the Virginia Beach National Wrestling tournament this memorial day weekend. This motel was convenient in distance away and the front desk worker, Tawania, was a very, very helpful lady. She helped us out a lot, helped us with an extended stay, and even recommended restaurants for us. She was more than helpful and wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to help us.

Tawania at the front desk was so helpful and nice! She was the best part of our Motel 6 experience. The room itself could use some updating and definitely more pillows and towels but overall not bad for the price.

It was 80 dollars for a winter night and no where near the worth. The shower was filled with mold and so was the floor. The desk area was caked in food so I know it was cleaned. The walls had black hand prints on them. The towels had black stains on them. And you have to go to the lobby are to use a microwave, and God forbid there's a long line because there's only one for the entire motel to use. It's sad I had to pay all that money and clean/sanitize the room I was in just to be feel comfortable even sitting in it. If i wasn't trapped in the snow I would 100% have demanded a refund. This motel 6 used to be my favorite cheap vacation spot in the winter. you were able to pay 60 bucks in the winter, 80 in the summer, have a microwave in your room. The rooms were ALWAYS super clean and smelled fresh too.
