The location was very close to a small beach, which was nice. Everything else was disgusting. If you want a cheap stay here, be ready to bring ALL of your own clean items and supplies to clean your own room. Upon entering, we saw a sign that said “Due to COVID, maintenance will only be cleaning upon request.” I think that due to COVID, maintenance SHOULD clean more regularly.. We then saw the pool that was disgusting with dirt and leaves all in and around it. We got a non-smoking room smelled like straight cigarettes, and the fridge was leaking heavily. The bathroom was also disgusting and the sheets were stained. We told the front desk, and they said to tell maintenance, but after we insisted we got another room, we were switched. Our “new” room didn’t smell like smoke, but it smelled bad. The fridge wasn’t leaking, but it was very dirty. The bathroom was disgusting and I bought cleaning supplies to clean it because I didn’t feel comfortable. The sheets had burnt cigarette holes in them, and they were paper thin. The towels had hair all over them. It was gross. In the morning, the only “free breakfast” they had was coffee, milk, and cereal. I would rather sleep in my car and buy my own cereal than stay here again.

It's perfect for me...nice safe area, one of the cheapest options around and 'beach' front. Good views of various ships passing through channel. All the furniture and stuff in room nice...actual room a little beat up but no big deal. Bathroom needed the most work but everything functions just fine. they could probably tell I wouldn't care by seeing/smelling me (I needed a shower badly) and gave me a room that needed more work. The floor could have been swept better but it's beach front and there's bound to be sand...also something that doesn't bother me. The gentleman who checked me in was nice...other employees slightly less. They wouldn't let my Uber driver use lobby restroom and refused to forward a call to my room (my phone isn't currently receiving calls). They may have reasons for that and not a big deal...easily solved problems. I would definitely come back...just wanted to point stuff out so it can be improved and so that people expecting too much from a budget hotel can be aware. I saw NO bugs contrary to what some reviews indicated.

When you first come in, the room looks pretty decent until you go into the bathroom. The bathroom was filthy!!! You can tell the bathroom hasnt had any thorough cleaning. The walls and shower curtains were stained and dirty. Towels, wash rags, pillow case and bed sheets had stains. I asked my fiance to get them replaced with clean ones and the guy at the front was pretty nice so he gave us new ones. Unfortunately, we noticed they were still the same when my fiance came back to the room. We had to get 2 rooms for us and my fIances nephew and we paid $200 for 2 rooms for one night and it wasn't even worth it.

Needed to make a last-minute weekend reservation with a special request for a non-smoking room located on the first floor to accommodate a good friend's elderly parent with limited mobility. The front desk, Sheena, was friendly and went out of her way to make sure the room was ready within 10-20 minutes despite the time being close to guest check-out. Pleasantly surprised overall and will definitely consider an extended stay at this location. Spacious, clean and well-kept room that checked all the boxes that fit the budget. Thank you to the Super 8 staff (Eddy the Maintenance Manager!) and would definitely recommend to friends/family!
