Stayed here for 3days and it was a mistake we will not repeat. Sofa bed was filthy, dirty linens and food crumbs in sheets. When the housekeeping staff came to change it they proceeded to tell us that they had no blankets available?? Seriously they knew this room was being booked for 5.. they were told to expect the Sofa sleeper to be used and yet they didn't have it clean or items on hand.. ok next beef breakfast was disgusting unless you like black bananas and old oranges and overcooked eggs. Oatmeal was like wallpaper paste and coffee so hot it was burnt tasting. I realize that there have been shortages and staffing issues in the last couple years but all this has to be dealt with in a ongoing manner in any business and this particular hotel has not proven themselves well. We had no linens service, no trash services or anything while we were there. The dilapidated condition of the room was compiled by the complete lack of simple expectations like a extra blanket in each closet, a luggage rack in each room, a decent set of pillows for the beds, and a chair as well as a sofa or at least 4 chairs for the table when the room sleeps 4-5 people. The neglect is everywhere and I will not recommend anyone paying to stay here.

I stayed there end of April and my parents also stayed and had a separate room. I just have to say how wonderful the staff was. I had a small issue with my room and the Assistant Gen Manager Amanda Lowe, went up and beyond to make sure we were taken care. The meals were delicious and the kitchen staff just as friendly. This hotel is definitely worth staying at. It's only about 10 minutes from downtown Norfolk and well worth it. I will definitely be staying there again next time myself or my family are in the area.

It's sad cause I was in a bind, had a home emergency and the insurance set up the hotel. The lights in the room unplugged cause they don't work. The phone to the room, no cord. The room itself dirty (stains on sheets, tile, carpet, etc.)and worn, you can tell where every animal had an accident. My family had immediate allergies do to the uncleanness of the room. Then the service, the young woman that received us late night was nice and accommodating, she understood me and my family's stressful situation and was very nice. The lady who told me at 1130 am I need to be out of the room in 30 minutes cause the company didn't put us down for 3 days only 2 needs a customer service lesson. Let me set the scene, I'm sleep, someone bangs on the door sees me then shuts the door, then since the phone don't work! I get a call on my cell from the associate saying I have to leave immediately. I inform her of the situation, and say I'm by myself, have to move a family of 4 by myself and I have no where to go. The associate says let me call house keeping while you find out where you're going, she calls back days I got until 1230. The lack of human compassion is what hurt, but without getting religious God is good cause I'm in a room down the street that is clean, bigger, and the staff are genuinely caring, how do I know? They saw my kids gave them free snacks from the store. They helped me with my dog, my luggage. I'm happy with the result.

Very poor. Room was small and dirty. Air conditioner gave out a burnt urine smell, it was horrible and disgusting. Bathtub looked like it was rust and blood in it. I would not get in it. The furniture is outdated and dirty. The price is not compatible with the quality. Don't stay here unless you have no standards. The rooms should be $50 bucks, then I wouldn't have had high expectations. The owners should be ashamed and shut down.

When we were there, about 2 weeks ago, it was drained. It was then cleaned and refilled. I don't think its open to the guests yet.
