Do not stay at this hotel, you will regret it. I was so disappointed I spend over 5 hundred dollars for a 3 night stay and it was a nightmare. I wanted to sleep inside the car that’s how uncomfortable me and my family were. I will start from the beginning, the pictures they have on the website is not the same in person, which means they are false advertisement. When you first walk into the lobby they are doing construction, so it’s stuff everywhere. They stated it’s breakfast included but doing work in the breakfast area and lobby. It stank so bad from all the chemicals they are using. When u take the elevator upstairs the walls look old and creepy. The rooms had old furniture inside them & holes in the coach. inside the tub it had mold around it. One of the queen size bed had dirty sheets. I called the front desk, to send someone up to change the sheets. No one never came up, I was told I had to come down and get the sheets and change it myself. My mother slept in a different room and saw a roach, the second night she got bite by a bug. The first night, we arrived we went down to the pool, it was so dirty, my 4 year old didn’t want to step foot inside the water. The doors was molded and the window sail had a lot of bugs and dirt on them. We left and had to find a public pool. The public pool we went to was cleaner than the pool that was inside the hotel. Me and my family wanted to leave so bad, but all the other hotels was already booked for that weekend. This was the worst hotel I ever stayed at. I do not recommend this hotel at all. Do not believe the photos you see online, I do not know how this hotel is a 4 star hotel.

This is honestly the worst place I've ever stayed. Our rooms are dirty including a huge red stain on the floor, a dirty towel and a blanket left behind by the last people in the room. There is trash on the floors, it smells bad. There is a piece of chicken...yes, chicken, in the chair. The air barely works, the phone doesn't work, the smoke detector is falling off the wall (not sure if it works). The front desk staff is rude and mostly non-existent. The hotel is under construction which was listed no where on their site and it's a mess everywhere. There was a huge puddle of water that I had to stand in to check in at the front desk. The pool has their chemical levels posted, but from early May and the pool is cloudy. It does not look like it's properly maintained. The "clean" towels were dirty in the pool area. The stairwells overwhelmingly smell like nasty beans and so do the elevators. There was food spilled in the elevator the entire stay. Our fridge is broken and almost falls over if you touch it. We have one lamp and one entrance light in the whole place. It's very dark in our room. The toiletry bottles in the bathroom are from the next door hotel, Country Inn (are they stealing complimentary toiletries?!?!) This hotel is run down, not taken care of, and I will never stay at a laQuinta again.

This was by far the nastiest hotels I've seen! Switched two different rooms and both had mold. The rooms had a awful smell.. The sheets had a red stain in it in the second room. I would not recommend. They definitely needs better maids and everything in the room is out of date and old fashion..

The location near Kings Dominion is great, but other than a couple of gas stations there isn't much else here. A bus load of young people were checking in when I arrived so there was a long wait for the lone person working the desk. Not within my or his control so the crowd of people had to be patient. The room was clean, but it just looked a bit beat up. Which is probably true of most places across from an amusement park. Some things had been repaired, but others just looked saggy or stained. The heater claimed to be making the room warm, but it wasn't doing well. I do have to give kudos to the shower that was quite powerful and refreshing. Breakfast in my mind was eh, but most would find sufficient.
