The best. The vets, vet techs, and receptionists are all competent, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond in terms of pet care. All three of my dogs have been going here - for routine items but also the various random emergencies that come up. We used to have to go to the emergency hospital if we needed specialist care beyond basic knowledge. Now I can comfortably say this is my first line of defense, and it’s a tremendous relief to have this resource!!! Truly appreciate everything they do. Highly recommend.

We used to live in Pawling and PatterPaws were the first to meet our additions of both cat & dog. From first visit, we felt very welcomed and understood with any questions and concerns. (Our four-legged fam did too!) We then moved to Poughkeepsie and switched our vet due to proximity. We were unhappy with our choice and our pets suffered from it. (Very grabby with cat/carrier/removal, picking up nervous dog instead of just telling her to get on scale, etc) Overall unpleasant experience, and made them scared of any further trips... Fast forward to a few weeks ago, our pup had pancreatitis and was beat up pretty good. We called PP and they went above and beyond to make sure that we knew what to expect, where to call, and how to help her until we could get her to ER clinic. (WE WEREN'T EVEN CLIENTS AT THAT TIME!) Just this week was yearly checkup time for both cat and dog and we decided to go back to PP. Both pets nervous as ever the whole trip, and even more when they came in the door and realized where they were. That was, until the vet tech moved them into their exam room and let them get acclimated. They took the whole cat carrier top off, and let him sit until HE was ready. (Not reach in and scruff him out and pin him down on table...) The care and the TIME the tech and doctors took to make our extended family comfortable is PRICELESS. The almost HOUR drive for us to get them to PP isn't even a thought after the care and patience they have showed from day 1. Great job you guys and keep it up!! (Our furry fam thanks you!!)

I would call and ask them. They are very responsive.

My dog has had diarrhea for several days and now won't eat. Can I bring him in tomorrow?

Check and see if tomorrow is a day they are in , if so I'm sure you can. But there are emergency offices open now if you don't want to wait.
