I grew up with the DDMBA NJ Chapter back when it was a small practice that gathered in the back room of a small retail furniture store for Sino Furnishings Inc. to a humble location leased betwixt an Irish pub and biomedical facility. Fast forward a couple decades and now it is its own proper standalone towering accomplishment. A place where Buddhist practitioners can free their mind, body, and soul. This temple is the epicenter of mindfulness holding the quintessence of compassion. If you are looking for a place that feels welcome; if your soul yearns for a home—know that you can find that within yourself, here.

Had a wonderful meditation experience in Sunday. Friendly Sangha of visiting monks/ nuns and laypersons. Run solely by volunteers (Laypersons) and very experienced monks and nuns. They have a good library of books.

This temple has always been a good place to learn different kinds of meditation. It is also one of the first Chinese/Taiwanese temples to open up after the pandemic. They genuinely care about people and speeches in Chinese are always translated to English. It's worth visiting for a Saturday or Sunday service if you are in the area.
