I have entrusted Dr. Vishteh TWICE in the last 5 years to save my quality of life. I trust him and recommend him to everyone who has back or neck pain that can only be corrected by surgery. You would only entrust your engagement ring to a diamond cutter, right? Your spinal cord is more valuable than a diamond. A neurosurgeon is like a diamond cutter, and Dr. Vishteh knows the care and precision needed to make your spine (and your life) better. My lower back was messed up. I had been in pain for years, but was afraid (petrified, really) of back surgery. I tried EVERY workaround, but the inevitable happened, I put it off too long and it suddenly became an emergency. Thank heavens my primary care doctor recognized this and referred me to Dr. Vishteh. Dr. Vishteh and his staff truly care. I put my trust in him professionally -- but to tell you the truth, I actually LIKE him personally. He has a great sense of humor and is extremely personable. From first appointment to last, everything went like clockwork. His Assistant, Dana, obtained urgent clearance through my insurance and, within 2 weeks, Dr. Vishteh performed my lumbar spine surgery. Why had I put this off? I was amazed at how much better I felt! The NEXT DAY, I was up and walking WITHOUT PAIN for the FIRST TIME IN 6 YEARS. Fast forward to May 2022 and severe neck trauma due to off-road-driving fun (idiocy). Of course, I called Dr. Vishteh's office. Again, Dana came through and got me approved and set up very quickly for cervical spine surgery. I can't stress this enough: I trusted Dr. Vishteh with my life! He saved me.

Dr. Vishteh and his team are amazing. I am a RN and had to have a complex surgery that lasted 7 hours. I was in a tremendous amount of pain and very nervous since I just moved to AZ from Texas and he completely fixed my problem. I feel so much better and highly recommend him. Dr Vishteh recently performed a lumbar fixation fusion along with some laminectomies on me. I was referred to Dr Vishteh by a friend. I had a lot of uncertainty with the procedure and going into surgery. Dr Vishteh and his assistant, Dana, were amazing in helping me understand and relax.
