Like everyone else, they make you come in on weds from 7am to 6pm on a walk in basis. Talk to a case manager, they might be able to give you a ride
I want to find that can afford like less than 600 monthly?
You can do walk-in every Wednesday. 7am close 6pm No Appointment needed.
Its not open as far as i know but it took me over 5 yrs. I started in phx and moved to mesa.
Can you send me 2 applications for hud housing? Can you send me information for my exsisting landlord and for me to buy a house?
The number of people in the home. The income part is from the total household income.
If all keeps going the way it is and no relief happens then probably yes! No Government funds no way for people to live.
Yes just have to get everything transferred it over
No, the Housing Authority does not tell the voucher recipient where they must live, but even though an applicant is approved, there are other requirements the recipient must complete, before they receive their voucher. One of the requirements is that they provide proof of their citizenship, and the citizenship of everyone who will be in the household. They also have to prove what their income is. When all of the information has been processed, the HA lets the recipient know what the voucher will be worth, the number of bedrooms the unit can have, etc. The recipient needs to know these limits, before they can start searching. It can be hard, and it can be discouraging, but finding a place can be done, and it's worth it. I wish anyone doing a search anywhere, the best of luck!
Good luck. I wasn't able too. If your credits not good enough you have to have a cosigner. I looked for 4 months in Mesa. Couldn't switch after I picked the city. Lost my section 8.
The Housing Authority will send you a letter in the mail when you have been approved for a voucher. You can check what your status is on the waiting list was it Housing Authority as well. Make sure your address is always up-to-date with them they will only communicate via the mail with people on the waiting list.
