First trip, we took a friend who was here visiting from the west coast. We loved the decor and vibe. Good selections on the menu. We weren't excited about the service. Our guest has a lot of food allergies and had several questions, I'm sure if you aren't confident in how things are prepared, this can be troublesome. A few questions were asked and our server simply didn't return. My wife had to find another server and ask her to get our server to return, ( by this point two of us had already emptied our drinks). This was after two other tables next to us and patrons at the bar, all of whom came after us, were able to place their orders. We considered walking out but stayed. The food was good. Although I did order onion rings which were just a few seconds shy of burned. I ordered the Sunburned Chicken not knowing the burned description would apply to the side. May come back as our selections were good, but not off to a good start.

The food was not stellar, it was bar food. I got the Pineapple Express which was supposed to come served in a pineapple. I guess because I got it to-go they didn't include the pineapple, it was just in a bowl. Which for the price, should have been included. It tasted like frozen food that had been cooked in a microwave. I was very disappointed in the taste & presentation. My husband got the Sand Dollar BBQ, it was served as expected. Ultimately the food is not very good. But the atmosphere is nice, and it would be a fun place to go drinking.

This is our family’s go-to place. Healthy options. Fresh food. Even has options for our very picky kids, and they beg us to eat here! A hidden gem in Midlo, and love that it’s locally owned and operated! Taco night is so good, and my favorite is actually the turkey burger!
