I ended a call with the man I was talking to about my sub application, but I didn’t hang up because I was writing down the email I needed to send documents to. He ALSO didn’t hang up on his end (assuming I hung up) and started talking to the person he was training. He was frustrated with me and told his trainee that people just don’t get it and don’t pay attention and that the home page states the email address and that they are trying to add it to more places (like the vague tab on my account where I got absolutely no notification that my account needed further docs sent to a different place than stated). He went on and on making me feel so stupid for asking one question over a 2 min phone call. This conversation was to his trainee! I said into the phone “sir you are still on” and he hung up mid sentence. Maybe he was having a bad day or hates his job.

The state of Arizona, bottom 5 for worst education. Need I say more. Been ranked low for years. Insanity doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Which says we like things just the way they are. Content with always being at the bottom. Strive for better? Heck no then people maybe could be held accountable. Nice and comfy collecting those paychecks. No need or reason to do anymore. Another fine working government agency..

This entire process went way more smoothly than I anticipated. The parking is easily accessible, and the woman that helped me, Maria was INCREDIBLE! Warning!!!! Although online is says the building is open until 5, the security closes the doors at 4:15 so that the last appointment is at 4:30, so they can actually leave the building at 5! But don’t cut it too close.

This is Google maps. That is a Question better answered by calling the number above.
Hi Terri, this is Google Maps. Your question is better suited for the Arizona Department of Education website at azed.gov.
Thank you..but they said they don't have any record of me ...I went to west Sedona elementary school.and red rock high school..
This is Google Maps, if you want to ask someone official about certification you should go to the Arizona Department of Education website (www.azed.gov) for more information or call them.
COVID-19 Update: Office Hours Our offices are currently not accepting walk-ins for certification applications or advisement. Apply and check your application status online using the AzEDCert portal.
I would suggest contacting their HR department. If they dont have what you need, I am sure they can at least direct you where to go.
I don't know. I'm just visiting here.
Hi Yvonne, this is Google maps. This sounds like a question for the actual Department of Education. Here is a link to contact the Adult Education division: https://www.azed.gov/adultedservices/contactus/
ADE has nothing to do with administering the state retirement system, even their HR department. You will want to reach out to the AZ State Retirement System(ASRS): https://www.azasrs.gov/
I would think so, they have printers. You can also renew online. http://www.azed.gov/educator-certification/azedcert/
Hello Pearl, If your certificate has been expired for more than 1 year you will need to reapply for certification in person or via the mail. Online renewals can only be processed for certificates expired for less than 1 year.
