They helped me get a Greyhound ticket back home to my son when I was stranded by my partner in Mesa. Wonderful people, I don't know where I'd be without their help

What can I say-- wow!!! These people are so kind; and they volunteer their own time for no pay to serve the community and those that are in need. You couldn't ask for better people. God bless these people in a special way!! That's my prayer

They will feed you and anyone daily , showers are on Wednesday 2-4. Fresh socks and some clothes. They have a outreach program but so many people don't help them selves they are overwhelmed. Dinner is at 530 pm to 630 pm daily and the food is outstanding. They really helped me knowing even broke I could eat. Take a check and rent a hotel until you can get on your feet
Yes they have assistance with birth certificates on Thursdays
You can meet with Judge Tafoya at Paz de Cristo on every 3rd Tuesday of the month. He is there 3:00 to 5:30.
They start at 5:30 and go to about 6:30.
Tuesday for food boxes. Any day before dinner for medical I believe. Just go to ER, the hospital staff will automatically get you setup with AHCCCS. ALSO, if you can get on here to ask that question then do a search for "Valley Food Programs". There are lots of places.
No, you need to go to MVD for ID, SS office in Phoenix , birth certificate if in state of AZ, Phoenix vital records
You need to be there in person. You also need a current bill that confirms your address, as well as personal ID (drivers licence or state ID). No religion involved. This is about food.
La Paz De Christo has serves dinner every night, along with a wonderful food pantry and plenty of other amenities to help throughout the holiday's.
Not sure. You'll have to give them a call.
We absolutely do.
No. You might call to see if that change occured.
I've known of people getting their mail sent there as well as receiving hot meals there. There are no sleeping quarters though. It's a great bunch of people who run the facility. If there are other resources out here, they will point you in the right direction
You should check with halfway houses they usually will let you pay by the week
a
It is a food bank only on 1 st Tuesday and one other Tuesday and the 4 the Saturday.
Paz is serving at 5:30 at St Vincent dining hall on Broadway and McDonald
No They Do Not
You can contact Mesa CANN at A New Leaf 635 W Broadway Rd for utility assistance. You can also contact St Vincent de Paul and the Mormon church for utility assistance.
You can come and talk to Judge Tafoya about it. He will be here today at 3:00pm. He usually assigns community service hours at Paz for any fines owed, if he can't quash the warrant, he will suggest community court at the Mesa Municipal Court so you can get services you may need.
ID vouchers are every Tuesday at 1:00pm in the lunch room. You have Wednesday and Thursday to take the voucher to the MVD on Greenfield and Baseline to get the paper copy, they will send you the actual ID card in the mail. If you don't have an address, you can use Paz de Cristo's address for any mail. ( No packages are accepted at Paz de Cristo)
They don't do lunch or dinner boxes, but they do have food boxes
I believe Thursdays at the day but I could be mistaken your best bet is to go down there and get one of those sheets that has all the information on it and you can also get dinner there at 5 in the evening so your best bet was you can go there I know they give haircuts like every 3rd week it's best just to get yourself up a paper from there and you know answer is Thursdays 1:00 pm
Yes they can
If you go to Cristo Rey de Paz I will give you a sheet that tells you the dates and times and all the specific information they need to obtain the information you're looking for
You can start getting your plate at 5:00 but, they don't start serving until 5:30
Probably on Monday but call them. I do know Tuesday they are passing turkeys out to those who got a ticket for them last Tuesday (13th ).
Only for verified Dr appointment and employment. You hav to have 2 current pay stubs or proposed job offer emailed to get a bus pass
No but the can send you in the right direction and to other organizations and programs that do and can help.
Yes you can. You do have to see a caseworker to see if you qualify for a 30 day. They will give you 2 daily passes.
Yes, but only until 1pm. First and second Tuesday's and fourth Saturday. Next food box is on September 4th at 11am.
No. Once a week or less.
Yes the do. Also the Tempe library does vouchers on Tuesday at noon. Go a little early and ask the information desk where to meet at.
First and second Tuesdays of the month and the fourth Saturday (this weekend). Need a photo ID and a current bill. They offer a lot more services such as replacing birth certificates, photo ID's, clothing, haircuts, etc.
Go there. Tuesday @ 1pm
If you have access to a computer Google Mesa food boxes. There is a food box location somewhere in Mesa every day of the week. I made a list with schedules, phone numbers and requirements for over 30 locations, which I will bring to Paz de Cristo on Saturday. Ask Lisa for a copy. Be sure to bring ID and a recent bill (last 30 days) to get a food box. Paz de Cristo and the Salvation Army provide hot meals 5 days a week. They're located about two blocks from each other. Also, I recommend United Food Bank, north of Baseline on Juanita. It costs $17 but you get a lot of food. Open every Friday from 8am-2pm.
Nope...just dinner.
The staff at Paz de Cristo can help you get copies of your birth certificate. You can also write to either state and request your birth certificates or go on line.
Career center open on Tuesday and Thursday from 10-4.
I suggest you contact your local church if you attend one, or the department of economic security. Provide the eviction notice for emergency housing/assistance. Good luck.
Their ID vouchers are given out Tuesdays at 1pm. You are given a voucher to use for the following day (wed) or the next day (thurs) and you have to go to the MVD @ Greenfield & the 60. Give them a call tuesday to make sure theyll be there
Food boxes are handed out 1st and 2nd Tuesday's and the 4th Saturday of each month.
Yes, you can use there address to receive mail.
