I recently took my daughter to the ER for a fever she has had on and off for about a month now. The doctor was very thorough and ordered blood work and tests that I think were appropriate for her condition. I was not as happy with the ER nurse Amy, I only knew her name by looking at her badge and she did not tell me what interventions were going to be done until I asked. She also dropped an IV line on the ground (uncapped) and hooked it to my daughters line without cleaning it with alcohol before I could say anything. I did not appreciate that, but I casually unhooked it and cleaned it with a alcohol swab and hooked it back with no issues. I did appreciate her quickness and calm demeanor she displayed. She was sweet to my daughter and apologized for the things she HAD to do as a nurse. I realize no visit will EVER be perfect and she did a good job overall, along with have a student nurse for the day. Overall, I think this visit and hospital is great. I would bring my daughter back and son if needed. Thank you to the nurses and doctors who took care of my baby. You are all appreciated.

Really liked our speech therapists. But I cannot get over the ridiculous policy that they had to wear masks. Many children are behind in speech BECAUSE of masks and you’re going to cover the face of the person who’s trying to help them pronounce words? So sometimes they would understandably pull down the mask—the whole thing is utterly silly, we all know it does nothing for health and is pure theatre. Please consider how this harms children.

Been to this hospital ER five times since my baby been born worst wait time ever. The longest in 10 hrs the short never. The wait time way to long the doctor just coming in to diagnosis or check up only 5 min. Every time a procedure is done it’s another two hr wait. Country with the worst medical care have better ER then this. Cannot believe the United States has worst of the worst.

Such amazing and friendly staff. Dr Cox and RN Steve took great care of our kid throughout surgery.

Im there everyday in the NICU they are only allowing one visitor per patient in the rest if the hospital and you are not allowed to change out. NICU and PICU allow the visitors to change out but only one oer bedside at time and no waiitng in waiting areas have to wait in your vehicle or outside hospital.
Yes, but most urgent cares are also capable of doing this!
They do have volunteers that do that in the NICU. Just get in touch with the volunteer office.
I think you have to call down there.

Does your insurance provide a list of covered facilities. Or have a number you can call to ask?
