Nicole is one of the nurses that came to help with my Nana. She was so kind and compassionate. She took her time teaching me how to care for my Nana. After she left my Nana asked if I would write a good review for her because she was so amazing! Nicole You are truly an angel Thank you thank you thank you

Thank you for all you’ve done for our Dad. Maureen, Laurie and Lisa were very professional and our family could not have asked for any better care at this difficult time in our Dad’s life. Highly recommend Hospice if the Valley.

I wanted to share my gratitude for Hospice of the Valley. I don't know how my family would have handled my father's rapid decline without them. Everyone from Meghan the RN, who coordinated his transition from Honor Health Deer Valley to HOV-59th Ave Inpatient Unit, and the wonderful staff who cared for both my father and our family. While everyone was amazing, Dr Sam, and nurses Debbie and Laura were phenomenal. When my father was transferred to hospice we had no idea how long he would be there. His cancer had progressed and he had a large tumor in his spinal column in addition to metastasis on his lungs. He arrived late afternoon 7/20, and passed peacefully at 7/24 at 2:08 PM. It was much faster than we anticipated, but consistent with his wishes, which were: 1. No pain-he had been in excruciating pain and pain management was critical. Dr. Sam ensured my father was comfortable while continuing to increase his pain medication due to rapid progression and break through pain. 2. He wanted to pass quickly and peacefully-no lingering. 3. He wanted to be able to share his final days with his loved ones. The setting allowed our family to be there 24/7 and staff was so accommodating to both my father and the rest of our family. HOV staff allowed all three of his wishes to be honored. For that we are eternally grateful. I apologize for not having last names, but our focus was staying present with my father. We were sure to mention HOV in his obituary as well. Everyone was such a blessing. We highly recommend HOV and especially the 59th Ave Inpatient Hospice Unit.
