Delaware park golf course is a nice course for the money, as long as you don't mind seeing others playing baseball, basketball, jogging our playing with their dog. I don't mind it, in fact I think it's one of the perks! Only trouble is finding the clubhouse! Google maps didn't account for the fact that the road that looks around Delaware is one direction... feeling to it the first time was very frustrating, but that was several years ago, Google maps may have thanks that into account.

I wish I could reply to the 1 star reviews that expect Pebble Beach for $14. This course is a great value. It is situated in a semi-urban setting in a gorgeous Olmstead Park. The layout is great. While there are many other activites going on at the park, they do not interfere with golf. There is plenty of scenery including architecture which is rare. Obviously an affordable public course cannot afford to have a huge greens staff so yes, the rough is rough. Unless you keep the ball exactly on the narrow fairways, you will lose many balls so bring plenty and enjoy.

I played today, June 24, 2022. I paid 15 dollars, another 5 dollars for a walking cart, and they gave me the resident price instead of the non resident because I am visiting town, because I asked if there was a military discount. This is a really horrible course I hate to say it. The fairway is maybe 40 yards across on any given hole, and the rough that surrounds the entire course basically is covered in 3-5 inches of dry grass that is cut not even short, and then they leave the dead grass there, don't bag it or anything, so finding your ball is truly impossible, and when you think you found it, its just one of the hundreds of broken balls that was chopped up by the mower and left on the ground. Terribly course, the signs and direction on where to go are absolutely awful, I walked it, and found myself just wanting to finish it was so bad, I am not a terrible golfer, but I dropped about 7 balls on 9 holes, simply because I couldn't find balls that I saw clearly where they landed.

No, but you can go to 15, near the Colvin/Zoo entrance. I've seen guys there driving, they let us play through. Also 1 is used like a driving range. Both Only in the evening! I don't know about the day
Officially 5, but if your nice to the guy or gal they might be able to give you the discount a bit earlier
