Like others, we were victims of price discrimination at Gothic City Cove, so we also had to walk away after an hour this past weekend. Unpriced merchandise everywhere. What you are asked to pay comes after being sized up based on how you look. We made an effort to sort and gather disorganized tile, only to discover what we were then asked to pay was really unreasonable. No negotiation like you'd expect. His wrong assertions about the item's uniqueness were delivered rudely. He used the unmarked prices to discriminate and take us for dummies. Folks, salvage items like these can be found elsewhere, with fair and honest pricing. It's actually not that unique, spare yourself and don't buy the hype.

This place is huge! 3 floors and an entire warehouse! Really amazing place to explore for architectural antiques, hardware, doors, sinks, columns, collectibles and statuary. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable about items for sale. Inventory is truly unique and covers a huge range of one of a kind items.

My husband and I went here and saw a pendant lamp that we liked. We asked the older man that was working how much it was and he said $250. We didn't have that much money for it, so we left and waited until the following week after we got paid. We went back in and told him we wanted to purchase the lamp and he said $350. We told him we were there the week before and he had told us $250. His response was "you should have bought it then I guess", and he just walked away. Very rude. My parents and our friends have gone here from time to time but will not be going there again, nor will we. That lamp has probably hung there for years and it can hang there for many more. He obviously doesn't want to make a sale.

Love Gothic City, you have to LOOK, and visit at least 3x a month. You won't walk out empty handed. They have the missing pieces.

I would call around to some of the antique stores, especially thise in Clarence and ask for a referral to a specialist appraiser. Best of luck, sounds like you have a real treasure!
Owner is pretty fair with pricing especially if you bundle. He has simple to fancy antiques knob, so the pricing range would very.
Don't recall seeing any there
