No. Your looking for car inspection and title registration. For inspection you need to take car to service provider. Most places that change oil will also inspect the vehicle. Then once inspection passes, you go to sub court house on granbury road for vehicle registration.

I no longer drive. My drivers license expired August 20, 2021. I need an official photo I.D. Do I just go to DMV and stand in line? Or is it possible to make an appointment ?

Go to Department of Public Safety website and try and make an appointment. I know DPS was making appointments recently, but I am unaware if/when that policy stopped.

I know when you let your license expire the test has to be taken all over again but what about my Texas I.D how do I go about getting a new one

I need to find out if its legal for a driver to avoid lights by cutting thru parking lot to exit side entrance of parking lot, which is a right or left turn only , so they could take shortcut across 4 lanes of very busy street just to go to QT?
