When you can get there in time it's good, but I just showed up at 2:50 and there was one car almost finished, another one getting ready to unload their cans, and one more car waiting and the guy walked up to me shaking his head and said they were taking no more customers for today. And that was 40 minutes before they were supposed to close. Yesterday I was there an hour before they closed and was also told the same thing, and the day before that I showed up an hour before and they were closed.

Very rude! I'd rather sit at the DMV then deal with those people. Go somewhere else!

Terrible experience 4 times in a row. Staff is snarky and rude. Posted hours say they're open till 3 but per the staff they usually shutdown at 1 because they're "full" --they run out of storage capacity. Today, I got in line at 9:30am with 17 vehicles already in front of me. It took 2.5 hours for them to process the recyclables from 14 vehicles. Then at noon, they promptly shut down and went to lunch leaving about 20+ cars stuck in line. They need to fix their attitude, streamline their process and address their capacity limitations to meet the demand.

It is the best recycling experience I seen around Clearlake. One thing I have a major recycling problem with, is the caps on plastic bottles...some places take them others want them on the bottle others won't accept bottles with them on. There should a standard rule regarding plastic caps.....Do you hear me State of California recycling officials?

I believe aluminum is going for $ 1.65 a pound currently at the Robinson's recycling center.

They are open Saturday through Sunday closed on Monday
I believe they are open Monday thru Saturday.
Take aluminum, plastic, and glass. Caps need to be off the bottles. Great place to go, rarely a line.
