We searched far and wide for 1lb propane camping canisters during a national shortage before making a desperate stop at this seemingly humble store. Despite low expectations of a fruitful visit, we stopped anyways. However, after finding a bullet shell in the parking lot, I knew this would be the place. The shelves were full of propane and we walked away satisfied.

Lake Builder Supply (Ace Harware) in Nice Doesn't have a large selection; but they do tend to have what you will need for your home maintenance needs. The staff is friendly and eager to help. Also. The prices are fair.

I always prefer to shop locally however having lost a friend here in lake county due to covid, I refuse to put myself at additional risk by shopping in a store that ignores State and Countywide mandates for mask wearing indoors in public places. I know they have no control over shoppers that come in unmasked, but what is their excuse for not following the law durring this pandemic amongst their employees? I see Lake Builders Supply as willingly putting their employees and customers in additional danger, and for that I will never return to this store to shop. Ever!
