This is one of the best police forces in my opinion. I really appreciate all they do. Thank you!

Questions & Answers

Do the officers here still detain people walking peacefully home during a snowstorm fora 'welfare check' when no crime has been committed, and the subject declined assistance?

Jacob Albretsen | Oct 11, 2021
James Vanderbeak | Oct 11, 2021

Yes, but they will dismiss all the charges after the news starts calling them.

If someone walking in the snow have to stop and talk to police when he dont want to talk. What code# is it that tells this law that a person who is not doing anything wrong has to talk to the cops an if he doesn't what llaw did he break?

joe alich | Oct 11, 2021
James Stephens | Oct 11, 2021

No, the Plano police reward evil and punish good.

I was wondering if a Plano Police officer asks if I need assistance and I respond no, do I still get arrested anyway? That seems to be your department's policy.

Danielle Cavener | Oct 11, 2021
Christian Ruiz | Oct 11, 2021

yes it is policy as shown on previous body cams

I hope his family sues the Plano police. The officers should be fired at a minimum. When did it become a crime to walk home. This must be the commitment they talk about serving and protecting

I respect every honest, law-abiding law-enforcement officer. But, I do NOT "back the blue" when they intentionally violate US citizens Constitutional Rights. American citizens have not voted in favor of, nor do we consent to, a dishonest and/or "Police State!" Thank God for video evidence & protection. Blatant, corrupt accusations, intentional escalation & their questionable mental health need to power trip & bully American citizens...is disturbing, concerning & very dangerous to the public. You, their police department, have the easy-to-use ability to educate the officers who choose not to think rationally. Are they not receiving adequate training to be able to safely & lawfully perform their duties while upholding our US Constitution? I no longer automatically trust police officers. You can hold all corrupt officers accountable for that.

HOLD THE POLICE OFFICERS ACCOUNTABLE. IT IS ILLEGAL TO ARREST SOMEONE FOR NOT WANTING TO TALK WITH THE COPS WHEN THEY DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG

Ah, but even when you do nothing wrong the police will fabricate something.

Get the number and report it to the local Police Department as well as the (Dallas) FBI office. Also, there is a link, in the IRS website that you can report that number to as well. Its the Treasury Department's fraud reporting site.

That's more of a scam unless you actually gave them your SSN. To report Scams and Fraud: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt If you actually suffer a loss and you are a resident of the City of Plano call the non-emergency number (972-424-5678).

Is there any way to stop the harassing, 5 times or more a day from the credit card company that wants to lower my rate? They are using other people's phone number to disguise their call causing these companies undue stress with return calls.

Sharon Borgne | Oct 12, 2019
A Jones | Oct 12, 2019

Unfortunately that is not a police matter. You have several options of listening to the call to see if you can opt out, contacting your phone provider to see if they can assist you, contacting the Federal Trade Commission who take complaints and run the do not call list 1-888-382-1222 and or the Consumer Protection Agency. Note they may not be in the office until the government shutdown is over.....FYI

WHy the cops can’t come out direct the traffics when the traffics lights are out? Scared or just been lazy?

Towing Bull | Oct 12, 2018
Kelly Michelle | Oct 12, 2018

Was it blinking red? They direct traffic if the light is out, but drivers are supposed to know blinking red light turns it to a 4 way stop.

I need to speak with either the Police Chief or a section commander very quickly. How do I go about doing that ? Please let me know as this is about an assault by one of your Officers last evening.
