How do I report fraud? I was asked to give my Social Security Number to opt out on a loan offer. Thank you and may God bless you.

That's more of a scam unless you actually gave them your SSN. To report Scams and Fraud: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt If you actually suffer a loss and you are a resident of the City of Plano call the non-emergency number (972-424-5678).

If you provided it over the phone when located in Plano (residence does not matter), go to the Plano Police station. I know they have one in downtown Plano on the 15th Street, by 75 behind the small stores. Its open every day. In lobby you go to the Information window and tell the officer what happened and he will call a Policeman to do the report with you which should let to the investigation, depending on the evaluation from the Police. Good luck. Hope this helps. Plano Police is very friendly. I am sure they will help you.

Thank you Amanda. I contacted the non emergency line prior to posting my question. I am in contact with the federal trade commission.

I would call the non emergency line and ask. I'm not actually sure
