Beautiful place for taking photography or getting a group together for tai chi or walking or meditating. Extremely peaceful little slice of comfort which feels isolated and away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Gorgeous sunsets and surprisingly not being attacked by mosquitoes. Pros: Fishing, quiet, easy parking, safe, don’t need a permit to shoot photo or video Cons: No real protection from inclement weather conditions, there doesn’t appear to be any on-site security, limited playground equipment, haven’t caught any fish yet

While a fishing licences is required I have never seen a game warden here harassing anyone law.enforcement is always present but I have never seen them engage anyone about fishing . it's a pretty awesome spot.
There is a sign that states, "No motor vehicles" but does not specifically state no drones or flying drones.

It's a Harris Co. controlled park. I would start with their parks and rec dept.

One, snakes and alligators live anyewhere there is water, so it is likely you could come across a cotton mouth at some point, just remember to watch where you step. Two, this park is no where near the bay or the gulf, how could there possibly be salt water?
I don't think so. The park is used for hiking, biking, fishing , jogging, and horseback riding. I've never seen a place to have a picknick or a bbq even. It's a beautiful park but there is little to no shade.
North cypress medical Center has ducks and beautiful lake.benches are available
No, but there are picnic tables and I think there is a small public grill. There are childrens birthday parties there fairly regularly
No. No sport courts or fields. Just playground, jogging/walking trail, and fishing.
Yes, bring a leash and they even have cute doggie drinking fountains next to the people fountain! 😊
