Love this beach so much. Definitely can get busy on the weekends, but otherwise it’s a great place to walk, swim, play on nearby grass, and explore.

Excellent place to visit. Beautiful scenery of the coast with lighthouse, historic structures to learn about, playground, walking, swimming and relaxing.

A great state park for stunning sunrise and sunsets, picnics, birdwatching , fishing and exploring. We came here to saltwater flyfish for stripers with our friends, and found the water crystal clear. Great views of the coastline and lighthouse, it is a great place to explore and relax, and escape the heat on a humid summer day. Bring waders if you fly fish as it makes it far more comfortable in the cold Maine waters.
It is a special tag to park inside that you buy at the town hall or a day pass at the gate. In Winter the gate is closed and everyone parks on the street outside and walks in. No fee in the winter
