The hotel is an older building..only 2 elevators serve the guests. The lobby is beautiful and a fun place to sit. The rooms and hallways are a bit beat up, but ok. Room and linens were reasonably clean. Location for downtown access is great!

Room was great and clean and great location but be forwarned this hotel has dishonest housekeeping staff. While I know the hotel refuses to be held responsible for lost property, they do nothing to hold their staff honest and accountable. I mistakenly checked out leaving 3 items hanging (on my own hangers) in the closet. Even though I called and reported it and my room number a few hours later, then hotel took 24 hours and four calls/conversations to finally tell me "the housekeeping staff says they found nothing". I am told hotel policy is for left items to be bagged with room number and turned in to lost & found. Hotel seems indifferent to the staff dishonesty/theft and would concern me to stay here again.

We spent a night here last Friday. It is a great location. We had a good view of the stadium. Even saw the fireworks after the game from our room. There were no valets. Breakfast was a buffet, but the food wasn't great. If we hadn't gotten it free we would have gone somewhere else. The eggs, sausage, biscuits, etc didn't even look good. Hubby ate them and agreed they were not. The bagels were hard as a rock. I even had to find a pot of coffee for a refill. That was the only thing we disliked. We will go back.

While the hotel staff was very nice, the rooms were not. There were stains all over the carpet and hair in our bed and bathroom floor. We were able to move to another room which was a little better but it was also pretty dingy. We even looked at moving into a suite for our second night but it was even dirtier than the room we first had. The couch was worn and had stains all over it as well as the carpet. We said no thank you and checked out. We have stayed at a lot of Doubletrees/Hiltons and this way by far the worst.
