Location: I get confused every time I go! It's not with the other government offices; it's on the corner of Santa Rosa and Monterey, next to the old movie theater. Once you find the right building though, the room is immediately on your left through the main doors. Tip: Paperwork can be filled out online, but you have to pay on-site. Or you can just show up and use the computers there to do the paperwork. Experience: When my fiancé and I went to get our marriage license, something went wrong with the payment (the online process for that is very confusing) and we had to re-fill out the paperwork when we got there. But when I went back to get the certificate, it went smoothly and perfectly and I was in and out in 10 minutes.

Hi Deborah. We only have 3 births registered for that birth date and they are all women. Please call us so we can also do a name search. Before 1915 births were not required to be registered with the State so a lot of those older records are actually held at the Missions. Closest missions are San Miguel & San Luis Obispo. Our main line is 805-781-5080. You can ask for me since I know your situation.
You need to contact Superior Court. We are not affiliated with the courts. Their phone number is 805-706-3600
