I'd like to thank Mr. Frank Brown for his phenomenal assistance regarding an auto loan for my son and I. Mr. Brown is very professional, yet he makes you feel literally like a family member because he honestly does have your best interest at heart! Mr. Brown's guidance helped me to be confident walking into these dealerships telling them with a firm "No" that you can't check my credit for a better deal (because they will try). However, there was a pitfall, I experienced but trust and believe Mr. Brown was there to pull me up with a helping hand and words of encouragement filled with much wisdom and at that moment I realized Mr. Frank Brown is the Father of Credit Union 1! I am truly blessed to be a member and to have Mr. Brown's very prompt assistance. Blessings to him and his family!

Average time to get a response via email or call is between 4days to weeks. Communication was extremely disappointing. I went to the Lombard branch based off of some reviews that were speaking highly of the branches professionalism, and sadly that was not the type of services received. Inquired about a loan, came prepared with credit report, collateral(if need be) proven track record of taking out a loan and paying in full with no delinquency and roughly $5000 in savings(to show ability to pay bills and save money). We needed additional cash for unforeseen wedding changes. I know my score is low and I reiterated that to the branch manager and explained why that was and I wanted to be completely transparent to avoid an unnecessary hard inquiry for a denial. Having equity in our home, the representative urged me to apply for a Heloc Vs personal loan due to rates and availability in funds. Fast forward, Heloc loan specialist, till this day, never responded to any phone calls or emails(over 30days) and loan was ultimately denied due to credit score(go figure). So, when discussing high interest personal loan, we discussed the collateral we have(2cars paid off), which was more then the desired amount requested ($10,000 loan vs $12/13000 collateral). After discussing with the branch manager and giving all car information, we processed the application. ONLY doing so due to the “reassurance “ we got, that the collateral would be suffice. Fast forward- loans denied cause vehicle needs to be 2014 newer. Had we known- would’ve never proceeded with application. We inquire with a financial institution we Do not bank with, and after 3 days out loan was approved. I sent an additional email July 27 in hopes of reconsideration to our loan application with the notice of approval from other institution in hopes of doing business with the bank I keep my savings in to this day 8/4 no response.
