So I was referred to Harry’s for alterations and was told he was the best of the best. Well I dropped my gown off on September 2nd and was told that it should be ready for pick up on September 29th but due to family reasons I changed the date to September 30th. Well the day comes and I just needed a minor fix of taking it up 2inches or so due to me being short, not a huge fix…right? So I try the dress on and they have taken it up from the top and my breast area was now to my shoulders, so the seamstress takes me back in the dressing room takes out the padding and had me put it in place but now it is bulging where the padding used to be; at this point I’m a month out and was originally told that they had a hiccup and now we would have to pay for another alteration about $300 or so. Another appointment was made for me to come back on October 7th and was told that my dress would be done again and I would be taking my dress home; well what do you know nothing was fixed the dress was still bulging due to the padding where the breast area was and they had the nerve to ask me to drive back to Dallas tomorrow morning so they could fix it. I left and ended up having to take my dress somewhere else! BRIDES BEWARE DO NOT GO HERE!
