I was hesitant being a new patient with the reviews but honestly I’m glad I still gave Mieir Clinic a chance. The staff is sweet and very helpful. Dr. Arena is very genuine and you can tell she cares for people. They have also worked with my financially, and has recommended many locations that offer assistance with finances for psychiatric problems. I highly recommend this place despite the reviews!

Been trying to get a appointment scheduled for two weeks. Office staff says the will call a Certain date. I don’t hear anything so then I call they say it’s still in review and they would call back on a certain day. It just goes and cycles nothing happens. Very frustrating going to find somewhere else

Dr. Grant has been a great doctor to me for the last year. He’s been kind, thorough and pleasant. I feel like he’s really listened to me and worked to serve my best interest. However, the office staff is a completely different story. The reviews are accurate. I had a terrible experience this week— I was completely out of my medication (my fault) because I mistakingly thought I had another bottle left. I called when I realized I was completely out— I was panicking bc you cannot stop this medication cold turkey. The office staff was not only unwilling to help patch me through to a doctor or medical assistant, they seemed pretty uneducated about proper healthcare and unclear about their own protocols & values. It was a lengthy experience, but most memorably I was treated like a junkie by one of the girls who patronizingly said I can’t call in about a controlled substance w/o seeing Dr. Grant again (I’m not on a controlled substance, I’m on one antidepressant and I just saw him in March.) Then I was abruptly transferred to a “manager” (again not medical personnel) who scolded me for how wrong I was and literally argued with me 🥴. No problem solved. I could share more that continued after, but I think the bottom line is — the office staff is ineffective and unprofessional. They’d rather adhere to their own convenient versions of “office policies” than actually work to serve the best interest of the patients who keep the clinic in business. I would be really bummed to stop seeing Dr. Grant, but these experiences are hard to look past. I hope to see this clinic improve.

Just dealt with a very rude receptionist that pulled an attitude on me. I simply was trying to resolve an appointment mix up and when I tried to be plain civil about the whole thing she wanted to pull an attitude with me. Didn't appreciate that one bit! They know when I leave I always tell the person at the front desk that I will call when I am ready to make an appointment. I truly feel that the reception area needs a restructuring bad. There are at least two of them that are extremely rude and unprofessional.

Various providers may indicate their proficiency because there is a lot of choice. Calling the office and talking with intake will give you an understanding of who is admitting new clients.
You will need to talk to billing about that.
You will need to call the office during normal business hours for more information. Insurance acceptance can differ with different practitioners.
