Great staff, friendly & helpful. Prices are average and the food was really good. The town is cute and lots of cute shops at walking distance after you eat.

We visit Tolbert's in Grapevine a couple of times a month. The service, the food and the drinks are always excellent. This past Saturday we visited Tolbert's and were greeted by a smiling host that sat us where we requested. James took our order and returned with drinks within a couple of minutes. James takes time to understand what we want and recommends the right food and drinks and prepares them to perfection. Every item on the Texas themed food menu is well executed. We highly recommend Tolbert's whether you just want to get off your feet for a cold drink, have a delicious meal or are looking for a fun night of music.

Great time, and great band

Gave this place a try today. Nice little place to go. Has that old small town vibes nice change from the big city feeling ever where else. Historical area just adds to the feeling. Was very easy to get a table . Parking was easy but at times will be difficult. Service was guick but not that great. Could be more friendly and show that they are happy having you as a customer. But I was alone and most treat you like you won't tip. But always do. Was early before live music was to start playing in the back of the restaurant. So what I had for my meal was the chili have been looking for some scratch made for some time. The chili was delicious all meat made it even better. The chili does have a bite to it . The flavor was right on point. The texture was also right on point. MUST TRY THE CHILI 🌶️. I also ordered the onion rings they were really good a bit on the small side and portion was also light for the price. But over all the food was good and I will be back again for the chili and to also try other items on the menu. But as always this is my experience also my opinion. I highly recommend the chili the #1 item to give a try over everything else. It's a chili parlor it's a must.

The band is in the evening. I would call the restaurant or go on website. To get current info. Great food during the day.

Reservations are not as available as putting your name on a waiting list and it depends on like anywhere else it depends on the walk-ins how many people actually show up as opposed to those who promises to show. Any good business, with limited seating, is going to go with what it has and so resz are not as tentative and contingent upon whether or not there is a crowd already in the house you know as to whether or not they can reserve a table or put you on a waiting list thank you. P.S. I HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT YOU SUGGEST TO TOBER THAT THEY NOW MOVED TO A NEW LOCATION BECAUSE THEIR BUSINESS IS THRIVING JUST THAT MUCH THAT THEY NEED A LARGER FACILITY OR TO ADD ON SOME MORE SPACE IN THAT SAME LOCATION IN ORDER TO ACCOMMODATE THE CLIENTELE THAT WANTS TO COME AND PATRONIZE THEM.
Plenty of parking about downtown including the free public parking beside the joint. Great time of year to go.
Donkey tails are made from beef hot dogs stuffed with cheese, wrapped in a flour tortilla and lightly fried. Served with mustard & chili on the side.
No private areas. Just a big open dining experience with live bands.
