Big thank you to Sam!!! An awesome helpful person at the shelter who helped us when we found and picked up a kitty off the street. Sam helped us get her a shot and even tried to help us get a sooner appointment with the Vet there then with our personal vet (since our personal vet was super booked). We sadly couldnt keep the found cat but Sam was a great help. However the reason this review is 4 stars is because the next day after finding this cat there were a lot of reasons it became apparent to my husband and I that we couldnt keep her. As animal lovers, rescuers, and adopters our whole lives we do not take giving up an animal lightly. So when we went to take this cat to the shelter it was very sad. As we dropped her off there was an older lady at the front who asked us why we were bringing the cat back ( I understand that there are plenty of people who come in to the shelter who do not know very much and maybe give up animals quickly) but this lady without knowing very much about my husband became quite rude and arrogant (like she knew more about owning cats) after we gave her one of our reasons for dropping of the cat we found. Then before we could give any other reason she quickly told us to just drop off that cat and thats all they needed. Because of the dismissal and kind of shock being treated like that we left. I am leaving this review because 1 and most importantly Sam was amazing but also because this older lady. After the interaction I cried in my car for several minutes because I was already so torn up about having to bring an animal to the shelter and I just believe that everyone should be treated with a kindness in a situation like that. I cant stand when people judge someone off of one sentance without having a full story. I could go into the many rescues, adoptions, donations, volunteering, research and love I have for animals but I wont and shouldnt have to. Everyone should just be treated with kindness in a situation like that. Thanks if anyone took time to read this.

This place is a great place to go and adopt pets it's also good place to drop off unwanted pets or rescue pets these are great with animals and really nice to people the only down side is that you have to wait a long time if there is a line so customer service speed could be better

They will come and check for they are a no kill facility
Anytime they are open! They are very nice and helpful people!
Call Moore animal shelter and talk to them about animal abuse
They are SO Awesome
Not sure call them!
Yes or OKC animal shelter
Try the police department non emergency number they can reach animal control
I didn't see any but I wasn't looking you can also call and check.
They do take donations of open bags! My family dropped off an open bag of cat food after we finished fostering some kittens.
The shelter is more than happy to take in your puppy! He's safer at the shelter than out on the streets. If you have any spare pet supplies, feel free to donate those as well.
I believe they open at 8 a.m.
No but there is a surrender fee.
You will have to call them or apply online.
Yes
I know they at least take cards
I'm sure they do if they are in good shape
Yeah they do, they lend them out and you can return it with the kitten/cat in it
Call
I'm almost positive there is no charge But if you could bring any food or supplies that would be helpful to them
Yes they have a surrender day on weds you pay 20$ if the animal is yours they are a no kill facility
Guess you'd have to call them personally
Yes, bring an ID with you.
No
You should have called police if you couldn't have found owner.
They accept volunteers bur depending on her age you may need to be with her.
I doubt they do that. They take then to vets outside. They don't do it in the facility.
I think they do.
Yes
I was able to just walk in.
Both ways though much faster if you go to them depending upon situation
Closed for the holiday
No
They allow anyone to bring their animals in for surrender. I'm not sure they would accept an animal that isn't yours or a stray, though. You could always explain the situation to them and if they have reason to believe the animal has been mistreated then they can take action. If animal abuse is suspected they have to take action on the owner as well. I would call them and ask what they would prefer you to do before bringing the doggy in for surrender.
They are truly nice and LOVE animals. If they have him, you can be assured he is being well taking care of.
Yes, they do. The people that I met running this facility are awesome
