They took excellent care our cat, who spent a weekend in ICU with them. Everyone was caring and knowledgeable, and they explained everything very well!

This pet hospital has been a God Send. My dog somehow ate a raw meatloaf with tons of onions as I answered my door today. Neel Vet Hosp. gave me all the right info and took my dog right in to treat on time. Thank you so much!! All of the staff was exceptionally friendly and very professional and the place was extremely clean. Easy to get to off of Hefner Pkwy and 23rd if you need them!!!

Although some of them seem to care for animals, the staff is extremely unprofessional. Reception is not helpful at all and never answers the phone. I walked by the pharmacy and heard one lady who seemed very frazzled that this “b&@$h” on the phone was going in her book of clients she didn’t like..?? And then after waiting for hours I went into the bathroom next to the pharmacy and heard a doctor (I assume) tell people in there they could come to her party and don’t worry about the kids we have an area for adults to smoke. Looking at the people she was talking to, clearly they were talking about weed. In my opinion that’s extremely unprofessional on all parts especially talking about it where clients can openly hear everything. The entire staff needs to learn manners! I don’t think they are aware clients in the waiting room can hear them in the back, walls aren’t hearing proof especially when they leave the door open by reception. I took my animals and we left immediately after paying $200 to sit for hours with no help. Avoid this place!

I got my dog spayed at a different vet and the incision came open. My vet office was closed but Neel let me send pictures and told me what I needed to do. I really appreciate them taking the time for us even though we are not their clients.

Idk if they do or not, but expect to be there for hours waiting and waiting to be taken care of. I took my little chihuahua in under emergency situation and I waited for over 2 hours after they finally put me in a room with my dog but the vet never came in. I left and will never return.
Yes! Dr. Ketz is our Zoological Specialist and she sees exotic pets on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Call and ask to be sure.
We do offer a vaccine package depending on the age of the dog. If you want to give us a call at 405-947-8387 or send us a message here through Google, we can discuss the details.
Yes they have a copay. The copays pretty reasonable it's the other fees that add up
We accept cash, credit, check and Care Credit. Care Credit can be applied for at anytime, even before your visit. It is similar to a medical credit card offering zero to low repayment options and can be used at most veterinarian hospitals, dental and eye care clinics.
Yes they even have an ICU. They've done surgery on my pets several time.
Hope your babies are better! The hospital would have you bring them in to assess, of course.
No we don't
no. we don't
Yes. Best in town. Come get a consult. Dr. Neel does them herself. We use a laser so faster healing and more precise cut. Less bleeding. We like to do them after they have had 2 sets of vaccines from a licensed veterinarian. Preferably before the age of 16 weeks. Bring your pup in for a consult!
Yes
neel vet sees reptiles, i highly reccomend dr ketz, and her tech Kat. i bring my shell children when their acting odd
When ever I've taken my puppy or my kitties its $87 for the exam. +if you get anything more.
Sorry no idea. But I would say they are very expensive. They are good at what they do.
Hi there - yes we can provide those services to you at any time, day or night. Whenever you are ready, you don't need an appointment for euthanasia.
We take walk-in patients 24/7. We will do a complete exam to make sure your cat is healthy enough for vaccines.
Thank you so much for the kind words!
I believe a nail trim is $13. Not sure in the flea treatment but I believe an exam is around $65.
I'd give them a call.
Usually it's around 70 or so for a wellness visit & shots, depends on what vaccs you need and what is done, could go up over 100.
Agreed. Do get bloodwork done. It won't hurt!
I would take them and neels is a good place...they take walk in
Excellent place to properly care for your beloved pet.
Obviously if the cost of taking the dog to a vet was not an issue you would have done so already. Maybe depending on the circumstances of the attack you could ask the neighbor if they are willing to pay a portion of the bill. You'll probably need to reporrt this incident to the authorities if you have not done so already
Animal welfare
Generally we don't take in wild animals. Animal Control would need to be called in most cases. However if the mouse is suffering, you can bring him in.
Yes, there is an exam fee but no emergency fee anytime.
G Hugh... you probably need to contact Neel's direct. Have you tried CBD Oil? Research how great it is for everything in the gut/digestive system. 250 mg...1 drop per 5 lbs body weight but buy at a dispensary and NOT online. All natural, completely safe and legal in all 50 states. Good luck.
It is always best to direct questions like these to the facility. They will be happy to answer your questions about services and tests they provide.
Don't know the answer to that one but you can call them and they can tell you probably faster than waiting on an answer on here. They are super nice about questions like this
Clean & assess it. If it needs stitched, go to the vet!
And did you buy the food from them? They seriously are all about the money. The med they put my dog on cost me around 30 dollars for 20 pills. I went to my own vet and got a script for the same medicine but 60 pills and paid 11.40 at Wal-Mart. Tell me that's not robbery.
I wiould also check on the roof of his mouth make sure that there is nothing stuck like some food or something that is lodged that you might can get out
Call and ask to speak with an exotics technician. Or make an appointment for a tuesday or thursday.
I was told Neels did not do payment plans but if you have a test run and you can't afford to pay for it in the end they have
Get the Zymox dog ear cleaner solution 5% hydrocortisone lotion from amazon for about 20 bucks .it works
You will have to see the Vet to get a quote.. Dr.Hicks is great.. he is the one who surgically installed a plate in my dogs leg after she suffered a broken leg.. surgery will cost.. but they are very reasonable.. and have a financial firm they work can help you with if needed..
Maybe hydrocortisone would help more.
Yes around 100 dollars and you will bury the animal yourself or about 150 for them to take care of the remains.
