The books I wanted were available at the branch libraries. They set up a request for them to be delivered to the main branch for me to pick up next week.

What happened?
Can I apply for a new library card online because I presently have no transportation I had one but lost it. And it's been some time since I used it, as well.

Yes. The microfiche archives of the local newspaper go back at least to the early 1900's if not the late 1800's
