I didn't know what to expect when I chose to drive out to Mesa this morning. I remember the trails of years past but they are long gone. The city had increased funding and made this place sick! Imagine the Papago bike jumps if they were well groomed. There is a pump track, a skulls course with some little ladders and teeter totter. There is a beginners course with beautiful berms and lippy little tables. There is an intermediate course with bigger berms, some ladder drops and some fun jumps into and out of berms with some bigger doubles at the end. Then there is an expert course with massive berms, big ladder drops, transitions out of berms and some big doubles. 5 foot lips and 8 to 10 foot gaps. The place is as firm as concrete and extremely well groomed. It is a playground :)

08/10/22. 5 stars. I walked the park and it has no apparent storm damage. No areas are off limits and signage is excellent. Trails are varied and clearly identified. Views of the valley are spectacular. Parking, restrooms, sinks, ramadas are all acceptable. The planning, design implementation and availability of the trails and courses is 5 stars ++++. Visiting hundreds of parks has deepened my appreciation and respect for park engineers and architects. Desert Trails Park is among the finest.

Beautiful view , nice bike trail for little ones and one for older more experienced riders

You will not get kicked out. It is, however, very steep and the likelihood that you'll be able to handle the kickers is going to be a lot lower than you suspect.
It's probably so the jumps won't wear away through usage and rain.
There is some lighting, but not along the trails. The only place really lit is around the parking lot.
No
Unicycle friendly? If so.. not really off road dirt paths..Mountain biking
Have not seen any there but jumps are huge. Lots of thorns if u bail!
It's a very well used park with lots of bikes there most hours of the day. It would be very difficult to run an RC car there when you're trying to get around all the bikes. Maybe very early, or very late might work.
Like Steve A said, this place is packed with bikers so your RC would be at risked and a risk to them.. find a dead time you should be OK.
No ,if you're literally asking if it's wet - no it's not , well used
would definitely not do that. hybrid bikes are not for jumping unless you have serious skill
when you can clear the table tops and drops with ease
Yes it is open that day...have fun!
According to Trailforks it is .8 miles long. Good for stretching the legs a little.
You have to bring your own bike and it is free , open to public
