Great, well maintained trails. Always clean and no litter that I've ever seen. I don't know if it's the park staff maintaining it, the trail users respecting their natural resources or a combination of both. Watch for chollas on the trail after storms as a tire can kick them into your legs. All the facilities that I used were clean and well maintained. Annual passes are very reasonable and if you are a disabled veteran they are available at a steeply discounted rate.

No, water and power only but they have two dump stations in the way out.
Not as far as I can tell. This is more rustic camping.

Yes, and in my opinion the hooks ups at the Trailhead Staging Area are pretty great- from an access to the park standpoint.
No
I received a long distance call from Canada while hiking there ! Signal strength might be service-provider specific.
They have trails for animals but I recommend bringing bags because they don't have those on the trail Food and water and maybe some food it will start to get hotter soon so now is the time to go
Nature Center building is free but if you also want to go into the park there is a fee.
I recommend camping and they will give you a code to come in and out. They close the gates at 8pm and close the window where you pay. But I also recommend you go to the nature center before 4pm and ask the friendly staff.
Sorry, I only hike there daytime.
That trail has been closed
Yes. He was a cattleman, his name was King Ussery
The park is open, but not staffed. If you don't have a pass, you have to pay at the entrance and put a tag in your windshield. (There are pretty hefty parking fines if you don't pay.)
There are several some like the Merkel and Vista trail are very short and could be done easily and under an hour. There are other longer trails that summit some of the peaks in the area which would be longer, 1-2 hours depending on your ability level.
32 a night electricity and water plus dump station.
Yes
Lots of areas, & locations, parking too. Not sure about reserving one, might make a difference in how many are coming to your picnic.
Easy to combine trails to make 20 miles or more.
Have not been to nature center. But the trails here are amazing
We were there briefly and I did not see any nearby.
Mostly no. There is some deep sand/gravel on many of them that a scooter would have a hard time with.
2019 fees are $7 per car or $2 per person to walk, bike or horse ride in. Or an $85 annual pass is available. There are other various fees and discounts also. Check online or at the park.
Parts of a few are. You may want to call the visitor's center.
No not on site. I would go to Action Ride Shop. They are great!! http://www.actionrideshop.com
I use the shooting range. The hiking camping side has a camp host I think! You could call and ask nice area!
Yes. But better confirm with rangers.
If you call they will know
No. This park is managed by Maricopa County and is managed by the county. It is NOT a state or federally managed park.
$3 per person - $6 per car load for the park. $15 per hour for the rifle range. (The range isn't very good for pistols.)
I've been there many times. Never heard of that rule. Seems crazy if it's true.

An annual pass for all parks in Maricopa County is $85. There are various discounts
Yes you need to pay a 6 per car load charge to gain entry into the park and then to park and hike. You can buy an annual pass at the visitor/nature center located just outside of the park entrance.
you should call the office.. Number on web site. I think the book may be in the gift store too
No. It's a Marcopa County Park. Different than National and State parks.
You can buy an annual pass that gets you in to lots of parks around the area. Worth it if you frequent nature.
s
